It sounds like there were some close calls involving Black Hawk helicopters recently.
Thankfully, in this case, the helicopter’s emergency landing in Cascade was precautionary and resulted in no injuries.
But the previous incident with the collision between a Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines flight near Reagan National Airport was tragic and serves as a somber reminder of the risks involved in both aviation and military training operations.
Hopefully, the investigation into both incidents helps improve safety protocols for the future.
