The Denver International Airport DIA continues to be a major economic driver for Colorado, with the 2025 Colorado Economic Impact Study revealing that the airport contributed an impressive $47.2 billion to the state’s economy in 2023.

This marks a 40.9% increase compared to the 2020 study. DIA’s impact extends beyond direct revenue generation, supporting over 244,000 jobs and generating $15.9 billion in payroll.

With a focus on ongoing growth, DIA plans for continued infrastructure improvements, including the ambitious Great Hall project, which is set to be completed by December 2027.

As passenger traffic is projected to exceed 100 million annually by 2032, the airport is poised to further strengthen its role in boosting Colorado’s economy.
