Extreme weather events: are we prepared for what’s coming next?

Good Wednesday! After enjoying some light snow showers this morning, we now brace for the cold. Tonight will bring clear skies, with winds calming down and temperatures dropping to 30°F in Chattanooga and mid to upper 20s°F outside the city. Thursday promises to remain cool and sunny throughout the day, reaching a high of 50°F.

On Friday, expect a chilly start in the low 30s°F, but temperatures will rebound to a seasonal high of 54°F as clouds begin to move in during the day.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 39°F in the morning to 54°F in the afternoon. A front will introduce late-night showers that will continue into Sunday morning. Sunday morning temperatures will linger in the 40s°F, climbing to 56°F by the afternoon, accompanied by clouds and sporadic showers throughout the day.

Next week will kick off with warmth, featuring a high of 60°F on Monday. More rain showers are expected to arrive Monday night. Tuesday will clear up again, maintaining a high of 60°F.
