Five South Carolina Inmates Charged in Violent Crimes and Contraband Cases

The South Carolina Department of Corrections recently released arrest warrants for five inmates involved in separate cases, detailing violent crimes and contraband possession. Here are the key points:

  1. Daniel Jermaine Reed (26) of Ridgeville is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime after stabbing Javonne Wilson during a violent altercation at Lieber Correctional Institute. The incident led to Wilson’s death and injuries to another inmate trying to stop the assault.

  2. Oscean Naqua Isai Goodlett (29) faces trafficking methamphetamines (100 grams or more) and possession of contraband after authorities found meth, a red iPhone, a USB cable, and other items in his McCormick Correctional Institute cell.

  3. Ernest Thomas Singleton (30) has been charged with assault and battery in the second degree after assaulting his cellmate at Evans Correctional Institute, causing serious injuries that required medical treatment.

  4. Donta Malik Dowe (26) is charged with assault and battery by mob after a violent attack on a fellow inmate at Trenton Correctional Institute, which left the victim with severe injuries.

  5. Travis Deneile Robinson (35) faces charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of contraband after drugs were found in his Lee Correctional Institute cell.

All inmates are expected to go through bond hearings, which are held monthly at the South Carolina Detention Center.
