Florida s Aggressive Response to Rising Antisemitic Hate Crimes with Law Enforcement Training

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is responding to the rise in antisemitic hate crimes with a law enforcement training session aimed at addressing the issue, particularly on college campuses.

The recent Hate Crimes in Florida Report reveals a significant 94% increase in antisemitic hate crimes from 2022 to 2023, especially after the October 7th attacks by Hamas on Israel.

The training will help law enforcement and investigators better address and combat antisemitism, following a broader national spike in such incidents, particularly in educational institutions.

Moody has also emphasized Florida’s strict stance on antisemitism and its laws prohibiting such hate crimes.
