IAC 2025 Midwinter Legislative Conference: Key Takeaways and Highlights from Boise

The Idaho Association of Counties IAC successfully hosted its 2025 Midwinter Legislative Conference at the Boise Centre from January 27 – 30, attracting over 300 attendees from Idaho’s 44 counties.

The event featured a wide range of activities, including legislative discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, with the goal of strengthening connections between county officials and state decision-makers.

Key highlights of the conference included insightful presentations by Governor Brad Little, who addressed critical issues such as water curtailment and affordable housing, and a keynote by Tareq Azim, a world champion coach who spoke on overcoming fear to achieve personal growth.

The event also provided county officials with the chance to meet with legislators, participate in discussions on state and local governance, and learn from experts in fields like artificial intelligence and workplace stress management.

The conference also featured a robust exhibition hall, showcasing 42 vendors offering services and products for Idaho’s counties.
