Louisiana Attorney General Calls for Sugar Bowl Postponement After Deadly Attack in New Orleans

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill has expressed her opinion that the Sugar Bowl game should be postponed for at least another day due to the aftermath of a deadly attack in New Orleans.

Murrill believes the situation is still an active crime scene, and more time should be allowed for the investigation.

However, the game has only been delayed by one day, moving from Wednesday evening to Thursday afternoon.

The attack, which took place near the Superdome, resulted in 15 fatalities, and the FBI is investigating the suspect’s potential affiliations with terrorist organizations.

Authorities are also assessing possible links to ISIS, as an ISIS flag was found in the suspect’s vehicle.
