Morning shooting in Southeast Baltimore sends man to hospital

BALTIMORE, Md. — A man arrived at a local hospital Thursday morning with a gunshot wound, prompting an investigation into a shooting in Southeast Baltimore.

Southeast District patrol officers were notified about the victim’s arrival at around 9:13 a.m. on December 19. The man received treatment for what police described as a non-life-threatening injury.

Detectives are actively searching the area to locate the crime scene, as the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
