PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police announced several arrests on Friday, stemming from various investigations and motor vehicle stops across the state.
Emily A. Bugler, 40, of East Providence, was arrested at 9:27 a.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for driving with a suspended license, marking her fourth or subsequent offense. The arrest resulted from an investigation assisted by East Providence Police. Bugler was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 10:01 a.m., Mirian Mazuelos, 48, of Providence, was taken into custody during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick. Mazuelos faced multiple warrants, including a Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear on a shoplifting charge and two Third District Court warrants for failing to appear on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving without a valid license. She was processed and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
David Perkins, 21, of Providence, was arrested at 11:17 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street in Providence. Perkins was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic violence – simple assault. He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transferred to the Providence Police Department.
At 12:08 p.m., troopers arrested David Delomba, 38, of Providence, during a motor vehicle stop on Hawkins Street. Delomba was wanted on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer. He was processed and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
Lastly, at 12:44 a.m., Johnathan Brito, 21, of Providence, was arrested on charges of domestic violence – simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. His arrest followed an investigation into a disabled vehicle on Route 10 North in Cranston. Brito was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
