Senator John Fetterman has experienced a wave of staff turnover as he continues to develop his reputation as a Democrat who sometimes goes against his party.
This includes the departures of his Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director, Tré Easton, and Communications Director, Charlie Hills.
Easton expressed gratitude for his time with Fetterman, highlighting their work in creating a legislative agenda that he believes serves as a model for Democratic governance.
Additionally, several communications staffers left earlier in 2024, and Fetterman’s new communications chief, Carrie Adams, also departed after publicly disagreeing with him on certain issues, such as his stance on Israel.
Fetterman has been known for his willingness to cross party lines on issues like immigration and support for Israel.
He notably co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act, which focuses on immigration reform, and expressed openness to controversial ideas like annexing Gaza as part of a broader discussion on U.S. policy.
