Weather conditions prevent the Tennessee Division of Forestry from issuing burning permits through the weekend.
Polk County 911 officials announced that Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, permits will not be issued due to low humidity and winds.
As a result, outdoor burning is prohibited.
Normal issuance of permits resumes on December 9.
